B.S./M.E.in AGRICULTURAL AND BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING
B.S./M.S. in AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
The combined degree is a program through which students work toward a Master of Engineering or Master of Science degree while obtaining their Bachelor of Science degree.
  • QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

    ABE students must meet the following criteria:

    • Status: must be a 4EG.
    • GPA: must have a minimum 3.30
    • Must have completed pre-engineering courses and 20 hours of the Engineering Agricultural & Biological Engineering Core.
    • Students must satisfy the Graduate School and Department's Graduate Committee Program admission requirements.

    AOM students must meet the following criteria:

    • Students must have completed all course work required in first two years.
    • GPA: must have a minimum 3.30
    • Students must have completed 75 hours in AOM curriculum requirements.
    • Students must satisfy the Graduate School and Department's Graduate Committee Program admission requirements.

  • RESTRICTIONS

    Required courses may not be substituted, unless by other ABE or AOM courses (Graduate or Undergraduate) with approval of the Department's BS/ME or BS/MS Committee.

     

  • IMPLEMENTATION

    A committee consisting of the Graduate Coordinator, ABE Undergraduate Coordinator, and the AOM Undergraduate Coordinator will process all applications. The application process will consist of a complete transcript, completed application to Graduate School and a statement of purpose, GRE (and TOEFL, if required) scores. A Plan of Study to complete the BS must be completed. The committee will make recommendations to the Graduate Committee. Number of graduate courses allowed to double count is limited up to 12 hours.
