AOM Courses of Concentration

Students in the Agricultural Operations Management program are provided with an opportunity to focus on specific interest areas by selecting from courses of concentration in three specific areas. Systems Management, Sustainable Systems Management, and Agricultural Construction Management. Each area has 18 hours of additional required courses, plus 30 hours of selected courses and electives that focus on a chosen concentration. Listed electives are suggested courses and other courses may be chosen if advisor approved. Students may also obtain elective credit for approved individual study or practical work experience.

Systems Mangagement Concentrations

The programs will appeal to students who enjoy working outdoors and are interested in working directly in production agriculture or the management of state agencies or businesses such as aquaculture, citrus, nursery, vegetable or livestock production.
