Meet the Officers!

President: Victoria Lavelanet

Hey! My name is Victoria Lavelanet and I am a senior at UF, majoring in Packaging Science. This past summer through the present I have had the opportunity to work in the IFAS Center for Food Distribution and Retailing. This experience has given me a heightened passion for Packaging Science and has excited me even more for this coming fall semester. The first day I stepped into Frazier Rogers Hall, I instantly felt at home due to the welcoming, friendly staff and enthusiastic students. I love packaging and I intend to make the Packaging Science Club a fantastic tool for students to involve themselves and learn more about the diverse, interesting fields associated with Packaging Science!

Vice-President: Wesley Taylor

Hi, my name is Wesley Taylor, and I'm in my third year here at UF. I was originally a business administration major with a minor in packaging science, but realized it's better the other way around. I am now very pleased with a major in packaging science and a minor in business administration. I enjoy all aspects of packaging and hope to obtain more experience so that I can determine an area of specialization. I have not yet had the opportunity to take part in a packaging internship, but I hope to do so as soon as possible.

Treasurer: Heather Clark

My name is Heather Clark, and I'm a senior at UF majoring in Packaging Science. I began my career at UF as a Chemical Engineering major, but learned of the Packaging Science program and decided to switch over in the middle of my sophomore year. I'm not sure yet what area of Packaging I'd like to pursue, but am leaning towards research and development, possibly in the heath care or beauty sector.
